From an overall standpoint, Garmont is my favorite shoe brand for all my everyday use and my all-day, all-terrain travel and easy hiking shoe. My only negative is that for my feet, the toe-box is a little too tight on some models, requiring the need to go to a local shoe store to try to stretch the toe-box larger. Suggestion: Waterproof shoes tend to be hotter to wear than non-waterproof shoes, so if you really don't need waterproof shoes, don't buy them just in case it rains. It is, of course, a good idea to have waterproof shoes available when you know you will be walking or hiking in wet conditions.

I like the look of the shoe but they seem to run small. I have purchased two other pairs of boots in the same size with no problem but these are tight on my foot.

great fit, right out of the box. Garmont uses an excellent last for their shoes - plenty of arch support and stability. The "special edition" seems to be just a color option, but shoe is otherwise equivalent to the standard dragontail

Lightening fast shipment and delivery; Shoes fit great and I get compliments on them. Soles not overly aggressive and do not track crud into the house. Fit is perfect

Nice shoe, but seems to run narrow. I recommend going up one size if foot is a little wide.
